Mysterious Passages and Legends of the Old Town
The Old Town with its winding streets and secret shortcuts is a site of many ghosts, such as the headless Templar.
During this walk, the children will hear about how people lived in Prague in the Middle Ages, what was sold at the markets on Old Town Square and, perhaps, where garbage was thrown away. We will walk a short section of the so-called Royal Road, perhaps see the thief's severed hand and visit the former Jewish ghetto. We will see where the Prague executioner went to drink beer. Along the way we will look for house signs and tell some scary legends. We also have competitions for children.
For children aged between 6 and 13, as well as for their parents and siblings.
The duration of the walk is about 1 hr 45 min.
- Meeting on Náměstí Republiky (Republic Square) in front of the entrance to the Municipal House.
- End at the Old Town Square.
After the tour we recommend that you visit the tower of the Old Town Hall, which offers a beautiful view of the entire historic center. We can also recommend some good restaurants for lunch if you are interested
